A PDF is the "output" of a Docfield document. There are two types of PDFs, namely:
- Standard PDF; document with and without watermark;
- Annotated PDF; document with marked lines around texts, which may be edited by writers.

Annotated PDF
The purpose of an annotated PDF is to annotate texts that are modified by writers at the document level. See the image below to see what an annotated PDF looks like.
This immediately shows which texts have been modified by the writer at document level and at template level.
An annotated PDF always has 'concept' as a watermark on the pages.
Layout
The layout of the PDF is automatically handled by Docfield. See the image below for an annotated PDF example.
