Choice list block

The choice list block is used to allow writers to choose between different options.
The following information is important when using a choice list:

  • A single choice or multiple choices can be made
  • The choice list can be optional or required to complete
  • Choices can be editable for document writers or not editable (static text)
  • It is possible to use smart fields in the choice list.

To add a choice list, hover the mouse over the plus "+" under the text block under which you want to add the choice list and click on 'Choice list'. After this, fill in the text to add choices.

Below, we see an example of a choice list with 5 options. 4 Static text options and one option 'Not applicable'. This last option is entered automatically because: 'Fill in optional' has been chosen.

Above the choice list you can choose between "Multiple choice" or "Single choice", "Optional" or "Required" and by clicking on the 3 dots "..." you can add a description to the choice list. In this case, "Select study load, one choice possible". To the right of each choice, there is the option to make the option editable (or static again) and to remove the choice. (See image)

This is what the choice list looks like at document level. An editable option can be edited here. A choice can be made from the options and the choice can be saved via the "Save" button, before the block can be ticked off.
