You can adjust various properties of a template, such as the name, folder, style, or other settings. You do this via the Template Properties.
Where can you find the template properties?
There are two ways to open the template properties:
Via the Template Dashboard
Go to the desired template. Click the three dots on the right and select Template Properties.From within the Template
Are you working inside a template? Then click the three dots (…) in the top right corner and select Template Properties.

What can you modify?
In the template properties, you can modify the following settings:
General Settings
- Enable signatures for all documents (if available in your environment)
- The folder in which the template is saved
- Academic year (for educational institutions only)
- Template style
- Template language
Template Settings
- Set up a cover page
- Add a table of contents
- Enable automatic archiving
Settings for Generated Documents
- Enable approval steps for editable content
- Allow users to add additional attachments to documents
- Mark hidden elements (elements hidden by conditional logic in documents or PDFs)
